Giving Blood at the Embassy (24/08/2009)
For the second consecutive year, on 22 July, the Embassy, alongside the Banco de Sangre (the National Blood Bank) organised a blood donation morning at our offices in San José.
Many people participated in the event including Embassy officials, members of the British Community and other officials who work in Centro Colon (the building where the Embassy is situated).
The Banco de Sangre is extremely grateful for the initiative since their daily needs for blood exceed the low supplies donated.
If you are interested in participating in the blood donation morning next year please contact Edith Salgado to register.
